Overview

De-Influence ("we", "us") is a shopping companion that analyzes publicly available product reviews and surfaces honest alternatives. We are committed to minimizing the personal data we collect. This policy explains what little we process and why.

Data we store on your device

We use your browser's local storage to remember:

• How many of your 10 free searches you've used.
• Whether you've subscribed to De-Influence Pro.
• Your chosen language and UI translation cache.
• Your consent choice shown on the banner.

This data never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings or by clicking "Decline" on the consent banner.

Product analyses

When you analyze a product, the query or URL you submit is sent to our servers, where an AI model researches public reviews. The resulting analysis may be stored so you can revisit it later. Analyses are linked to your account only if you are signed in.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — Stripe handles all payment data in line with its own PCI-compliant standards. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status.

No tracking or advertising

We do not use third-party tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or analytics that profile you across other websites.

Your GDPR rights

If you are in the EU/UK, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent at any time (clear local storage or contact us).
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
